That a further clause be added to the motion as follows:-
(iii) a program of new path construction, based on extensive community consultation, to
complete any missing links in the pedestrian routes for schools, commercial centres,
recreational centres and bus stops be commenced as soon as possible.

COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION:
Moved by Cr Langer, seconded by Cr Carr
That:-
(i)
(ii)
the proposed Five Year Program (2012/13 to 2016/17) for footpaths, as attached, be
endorsed for planning and budget considerations;
the first year of the Five Year Program for footpaths be considered for funding in
the Draft 2012/13 Budget;
(iii) a program of new path construction, based on extensive community consultation,
to complete any missing links in the pedestrian routes for schools, commercial
centres, recreational centres and bus stops be commenced as soon as possible.
Cr MacRae left the meeting at 8.02 pm and returned at 8.04 pm.

That clause (iii) of the motion be amended by deleting the words "based on extensive
community consultation".
