Action on the Outbreak of Fire
If you discover a fire
1) Shout for assistance
2) Operate the fire alarm. They are located in the following areas :

3) Inform the Headteacher and reception after sounding the alarm, so that the
fire brigade can be informed of the source of the fire.
4) Follow the procedure outlined below.
Action that must be taken with the children:
1. Calmly evacuate the building immediately by the nearest exit, taking with you
any child in your care.

3. Before leaving the classroom, try to close all the doors and windows if you are
able to do so safely. Ensure the door you leave through is closed behind you.
The Class Teachers will lead the class while the LSA will stay at the end of the
line to ensure no child is left behind.
