Appendix D: <strong>Bicycle</strong> Transportation Account Checklist<br />
The <strong>Bicycle</strong> Transportation Account (BTA) is an annual program that provides state funds for <strong>City</strong> projects<br />
that improve safety <strong>and</strong> convenience for bicycle commuters. The <strong>City</strong> must prepare <strong>and</strong> adopt a <strong>Bicycle</strong><br />
Transportation <strong>Plan</strong> (BTP) that complies with Streets <strong>and</strong> Highways Code Section 891.2 to be eligible for BTA<br />
funds. The table below presents these eleven criteria <strong>and</strong> identifies the section <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Plan</strong> that contains each<br />
