Although it might be untimely, unexpected or uninvited, a gift is a blessing and is meant to be opened. If someone has given you this Eye on Arbonne story, then I hope you will take a moment to entertain the possibility that the gift is intended for you, and it has the power to change your life. In February of 2006, starting a home-based business was the last thing on my mind. My daughter, Sophia, was about to turn three years old and with her older brothers, Michael, age four and Nicholas, age six, enrolled in school, I was eager to start my private fl ute studio and rekindle my life as a professional musician. This was good in theory, but in practice I realized that I would eventually have too many evenings and weekends away from my family and at the end of the day, the reality of me trading my precious time for money was not going to be the vehicle which would give my husband and I the choices we dreamed of in life. Although Steven has a very successful career in the software industry, the opportunities and choices we wanted in life for our family were getting harder to achieve with one income. Thank you, ERVP Cindy Hafenbrack, for sharing with me the magic of the little gold tote! At fi rst I resisted, but honestly after doing my due diligence and learning the benefi ts of time leveraging, residual income and unlimited earning potential, I quickly gave Arbonne a chance. What I did not realize on that memorable day in February was that this was the beginning of an enormous period of personal growth and professional development in my life. Arbonne not only provided the Consultant training necessary for me to attract a team of leaders, but also the subsequent journey to VP enriched all areas of my life. success strategy:
Never underestimate the
power of doing, failing, trying
again and staying committed.
provides our family with the blessings of a private education, music
lessons, sports experiences and a yearly family vacation to an exotic
destination! It gives me peace of mind to know I am also building an
Arbonne legacy for their future.
First and foremost, thank you to my sponsor, ERVP Cindy Hafenbrack. Your
patience and perseverance with me will never be forgotten. I believe we
were meant to take this journey together and your incredible passion for success
in Arbonne has touched everyone in your SuccessLine. Thank you.
Thank you to my fi rst business builder, EAM Jacquie Swystun. Your vision,
knowledge and tenacity are an inspiration to me. You are building a
brilliant team of women and I will never forget how you stayed by my
side during the highs and lows of RVP qualifi cation. Wherever your
journey takes you, we are partners for life!
To AM Lisa Ciz and EDM Kim Elworthy: I cannot thank you enough for
sharing this journey with me. You two have everything already within you
to make it to the top of Arbonne. I believe in you both and I look forward
to the day when we hand you the keys to your white Mercedes-Benz!
Thank you to AM Elaine White, my neighbor, my “sister” and my friend.
You continue to teach me and inspire me with your effervescent personality
and your passion for life. You have the business savvy of a CEO,
but the elegant style of an ENVP! I am honored and overjoyed to take
this journey with you.
It is a privilege to build an organization which attracts the talent evident
in the following women: DMs, Kay Woodward, Kari Reynolds, Maggie
Wall, Cathy Repp, Leslie Ciz, Cheryl LeGault, Lauren Segal, Kari Casey
and Kathi Quinn. Remember, keep your eye on the prize and never stop
dreaming! Thank you for all you do and for all you contribute to the
mosaic of this team.
To my parents, who taught me the value of hard work and perseverance,
a heartfelt thank you. Dad, you always did say I would excel in business
when my heart kept choosing performing arts! Arbonne is now giving
me the freedom to embrace both disciplines.
Finally, thank you to my incredible husband of 10 years, Steven. You
stood at the bottom of our stairs when I told Cindy “yes” and you partnered
with me every step of the way. You are my best friend and my
Anna’s Canadian team at CNTC. L–R: DM Leslie Ciz, DM Cheryl LeGault, EDM
biggest joy will be the day when, because of Arbonne, you step down
from the treadmill to follow your dreams. To Nicholas, Michael and
Sophia: Thank you for forgiving the days when things seemed a little
“topsy-turvy.” I love you and I hope you one day know it was all for you.
Oh, the places we will go!
To the hundreds, if not thousands, of Consultants yet to be sponsored in
the Woodward SuccessLine: Thank you in advance, for it is in preparation
for you that I keep moving ahead and pressing on to be the leader
you deserve. A colleague once told me that the hardest part about taking
the gift was letting go of the good life and going for the great life. Most
of us reading this EOA and living in a free society inarguably have a
good life … But do you have the desire for an extraordinary life? That
is what is being offered with the gift of Arbonne. Take it, embrace it and
pass it on to someone you love.
