Thermometers<br />
Thermometers are used to measure and display the temperature in all areas of daily life.<br />
In Germany, the temperature is usually measured and indicated in degrees Celsius (°C).<br />
In some English speaking countries the temperature is given in Fahrenheit (°F).<br />
Luxmeters<br />
Luxmeters are used to measure the illuminance of light sources. The internationally recognised unit of measurement is<br />
Lux (L). Too bright or dazzling light is extremely unpleasant for the human eye; in individual cases it can cause illness.<br />
As it is hard to imagine not having different light sources in practically all areas of private and public life, guidelines have<br />
been developed for many different fields, with the added objective of preventing accident hazards.<br />
Humidity testers<br />
Moisture has a huge influence on many materials, which in turn can have negative effects in the house building industry.<br />
These can also endanger human health.<br />
With a humidity tester it is possible to track down critical values and undertake counter measures in good time.<br />
