The new Testboy 113 is a further development of the proven Testboy 110. Its simplicity of operation and diverse options
for use in a wide variety of applications means this instrument should belong to the basic equipment of DIY enthusiasts
and professional electricians alike.
Both voltage testers are equipped to provide optical and acoustic voltage indication. Made of impact resistant, highstrength
ABS plastic the housing is suitable for use in harsh conditions. An integrated LED torch allows defective cables
to be found quickly and reliably.
Non-contact Testboy voltage testers detect live wires, for example in splices, cable drums, socket outlets, switches and
outlet junction boxes. It is possible to localise a defective lamp in a chain of lights within seconds. An invisible cable
break in an extension lead is indicated to within a tolerance of just a few millimetres.
In contrast to the inductive method of measurement the capacitive method does not require current to flow. That makes
it possible to indicate breaks quickly and precisely to within a centimetre.
The Testboy 113 has been specifically developed for use in installation work. Its user-friendly handling attributes make
it particularly suitable for use in areas with restricted accessibility.
