The Testboy 11 and Testboy 111 are two of the more sought after products in our assortment. Their simplicity of operation<br />
and wide range of different options for use means these instrument should belong to the basic equipment of DIY enthusiasts<br />
and qualified electricians alike.<br />
Both voltage testers are equipped to provide optical and acoustic voltage indication. Made of impact resistant, high-strength<br />
ABS plastic the housing is suitable for use in harsh conditions. The Testboy 111 is equipped with an integrated LED torch to<br />
enable defective cables to be found quickly and reliably.<br />
The non-contact voltage testers detect live wires, for example in splices, cable drums, socket outlets, switches and outlet<br />
junction boxes. It is possible to localise a defective lamp in a chain of lights within seconds. An invisible cable break in an<br />
extension lead is indicated to within a tolerance of just a few millimetres.<br />
In contrast to the inductive method of measurement the capacitive method does not require current to flow. That makes it<br />
possible to indicate breaks quickly and precisely to within a centimetre.<br />
The Testboy 11 and Testboy 111 have been specifically constructed for use in installation work. Their user-friendly handling<br />
attributes make them particularly suitable for use in areas with restricted accessibility.<br />
