The Underhand Throw
Good throwers
can play:

Horseshoes
1 . Look at their target.
2 . Point their toes
at the target.
3 . Swing their arm
back like an
elephant’s trunk.
4 . Step forward as they
throw (step with the
foot opposite to their
throwing hand).
To throw a grounder:
Control the underhand
throw so the ball rolls
smoothly.
Bowling
Curling
It’s fun to throw!
Use empty milk cartons or soup
cans, empty cardboard, coffee cups,
kleenex boxes, etc.
Helpers Say:

overload knapsacks; adjust
straps to allow the weight
to be evenly distributed with
heavier objects positioned
closer to the hips.
