First and foremost, I would like to thank the authors who have contributed
to this pamphlet for engaging so positively with our initiative. I hope this
publication will prove to be a suitably worthy and thought-provoking
intervention in the EU debate to match the high quality of the pieces they
submitted.

Fraser, co-organisers of this project, for their inspiration at all stages of
