Simona Milio is associate director of the Economic Social Cohesion Laboratory, European Institute, London School of Economics and Political Science. She is the author of From Policy to Implementation in the European Union: the Challenge of Multi-level Governance System (2009). Carlos Mulas-Granados is professor of economics at Complutense University in Madrid and director of the IDEAS Foundation. He is the author of Economics, Politics and Budgets: The Political Economy of Fiscal Consolidations in Europe (2006). Georges Pagoulatos is associate professor of politics in the Department of International and European Economic Studies at Athens University of Economics and Business. He is a senior research fellow at ELIAMEP, as well as visiting professor at the College of Europe in Bruges. Xavier Prats-Monné is director for employment policy, Lisbon strategy and international affairs at the European Commission’s Directorate General for Employment, Social Policy and Equal Opportunities. Marco Simoni is a lecturer in European political economy as well as a British Academy post-doctoral fellow at the London School of Economics.
