Connect and route a network cable from one of the chassis module ports up through the cable
management guides and up to the room’s overhead cable trough. When routing network interface cables
through the cable guides, you must allow adequate slack in the network cable so that the cable’s bend
radius is always shallow and so that the cable management assembly can be pivoted down to permit
access to the chassis fan tray assembly.
Tip
To keep the network interface cables organized and minimize the space they occupy, try bundling them
in groups of 12 cables (4 bundles of 12 cables per 48-port module). (See Figure 3-49.)
