On Wednesday, December 7 th at 11:00am in the Lakeview Room, representatives from Celebration Events will share holiday entertaining ideas with you. They have lots of creative and fun holiday decorating tips and recipes for you to take home. Food and beverage samples will also be provided to attendees. In January, one of our very own property owners, Ron Roth will discuss John James Audubon, one of America’s most outstanding natural scientists and artists. Ron gives presentations for the South Carolina Humanities Council’s program, Humanities Out Loud on a regular basis. As Former Director of the Reading Public Museum and the Nebraska Museum of Art, he has curated or cocurated 30 art exhibitions as well as given hundreds of lectures to diverse audiences. This will be an exciting, informative lecture about Audubon’s “Birds of America” specifically his time spent in the Lowcountry.
