FALL FESTIVAL AT CARE —
The 2nd Annual Fall Festival
at the Center for Animal
Research and Education
(CARE) is Oct. 27 and 28
and Nov. 3 and 4. Tours will
start at noon and 3 p.m.
each day. Visitors are invited
to come out an hour earlier
to participate in games, arts
and crafts, refreshments,
treats and a raffle. During
the tour, visitors will be able
to give presents and treats
to the animals. The center
asks for a $20 donation for
adults and $10 for children
under 12. Raffle tickets

CANDLELIGHT VIGIL — A
candlelight vigil in honor
of domestic violence
victims and survivors is 7

GOLF TOURNAMENT
— The 3rd Annual DHS Golf
Booster Club Tournament
is Saturday, Oct. 27, at The
Resort Golf Club at Eagle
Mountain Lake. Registration
is at 10 a.m., and the
tournament begins at 1 p.m.
Cost to enter the four-person
scramble is $320, which
includes lunch, goody bags
and door prizes. The event

School boys and girls golf
