Next week the Archdiocese has scheduled a special
collection for Church in Africa. We will contribute

Help Wanted! The Nativity Music Ministry is
looking for volunteers to serve as sound board operators.
If you are willing to dedicate yourself to learning
the ‘ins and outs’ of our new sound system and would

Nativity Parishioners….Precious Child is asking for
your help again this year in their crayons to
calculators program. Last year we helped fill thousands
of backpacks with school supplies to be given to children
who would normally not be able to buy them. This event
is a great opportunity for us to help kids be successful in
school. Please stop by the gathering area and check out a
list of needed supplies and return your donation to the
drop boxes in the gathering area. Precious Child is very
thankful of our help both with supplies and with those
who help in the filling of the backpacks. Thank you in
advance for your support.

NATIVITY OF OUR LORD CATHOLIC SCHOOL
The mission of Nativity of Our Lord School is to continue
the ministry of Jesus Christ within the tradition of our
Catholic heritage in order to educate the whole person,
spiritually, intellectually, physically, socially, and
emotionally.
Have you considered Catholic School for your child? Nativity
of Our Lord offers and excellent core curriculum based on
national standards as prescribed by the Archdiocese of Denver.
Academic subjects for all grades include Religion, Math,
Science, Social Studies, Spanish, Reading/Literature, and
Language Arts (which encompass grammar, composition, and
spelling.) In addition students are instructed in Art, Music,
Physical Education, and Computers. Nativity students
consistently score above grade level on the Iowa Test of Basic
Skills.
Students at Nativity learn the importance of stewardship
through many service activities throughout the school year. Our
students also have opportunities to put their faith into practice
through activities such as Rosary Club, Altar Club, and liturgy
planning. Co-curricular and extracurricular activities provide
additional opportunities for students to explore their interests
and become well-rounded individuals.
All Nativity School administration and faculty are licensed in
their area of expertise and continue to enhance their abilities
through classes and in-services. The discipline and order of our
devoted teachers and staff provide a safe environment and
increase receptivity to learning.

a new parish photo directory that will be
available in late fall to all parish members. To make
this a success we need all of you to sign up and have
your picture taken. As a thank you for having your
picture taken you will receive a free 8x10 portrait.

Spaghetti Dinner and Bake Sale
We are in need of help for raising money to send a 3 year old
Tomas to the Autism Center of America for an Intensive
Program. On March of 2012 Tomas and his parents will be
traveling to the center for an intensive program where Tomas will
receive 8 hours of daily one on one interactive and educational
training. The parents will also be in training as well to help them
work with him in the future. Please join us for a spaghetti dinner
and bake sale where all proceeds will go towards the costs of this
program.
