Measure and layout the interior cut line by measuring up from the base rail 5- 1 /4", then count upward 13 rivets. Drill out the 13th rivet to transfer the reference mark from the outside wall to the interior. From the inside, measure down 5 /8" from the center of the rivet hole. Refer to Figure 26. This method will allow for inconsistencies in the exterior wall surface of the lower panel. Do the same at numerous places along the 52 ft. length. 2. Stretch a chalk line and mark where the cut will be made along both outside and inside walls.
