1 Adjusting the buttonhole width and density<br />

Adjusting the buttonhole width.<br />

Press the plus (+) key to increase buttonhole width.<br />

Press the minus (–) key to decrease buttonhole width.<br />

The LED display shows “ 5.0 ” (default setting) when the<br />

plus or minus key is pressed. The buttonhole width can<br />

be varied from 2.5 to 7.0.<br />

Adjusting the buttonhole stitch density<br />

Press the plus (+) key for coarser stitch.<br />

Press the minus (–) key for denser stitch.<br />

The LED display shows “ 0.4 ” (default setting) when the<br />

plus or minus key is pressed. The stitch density can be<br />

varied from 0.2 to 0.8<br />

The LED display does not show the sewing step when<br />

the adjusting mode is selected.<br />

After the buttonhole sewing is finished, LED will show “0”.<br />

#20 Knit buttonhole<br />

Step 1<br />

Depress the foot control and the machine will start sewing<br />

and stop automatically after buttonhole is completed.<br />

Step 1: Sew up to the end with a straight stitch then sew<br />

down the left row.<br />

Step 2: Sew the front bartack.<br />

Step 2<br />

Step 3: Sew up to the end with a straight stitch then sew<br />

the back bartack. Sew down the right row and<br />

stop automatically.<br />
