TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. BIDDING: Each lot on which there are two or more bids will be sold to the highest bidder. 2. BIDDING DISPUTES: The auctioneer in charge will settle any dispute as to bids, and his decision on such matters shall be final. 3. TERMS: The terms are cash to be paid the day of the sale. Cattle will not be released until full payment is made unless prior written arrangements are made with sales management. 4. HANDLING: Each lot will be at purchaser’s risk as soon as sold but will not be delivered until settlement is made. 5. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Announcements from the auction box will take precedence over the printed matter in this catalog. 6. LIABILITY: All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk. The owners and the sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents which may occur. 7. HEALTH: All cattle will be accompanied by an Interstate health paper. Foreign buyers will be responsible for health papers, all costs or any other expense involved in getting cattle to their final destination. 8. REGISTRATION PAPERS: Registration certificates on each animal will be delivered directly to the breed association office after buyer’s checks have cleared the bank. Buyer will receive his certificates directly from the breed association office. 9. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS: The above terms and conditions of sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and seller of each animal and shall be equally binding upon both. Each sale or resale of an animal constitutes a separate transaction. Neither Channarock Farms, Interstate Cattle Services, Inc., nor any other person connected with the sale assumes any liability, legal or otherwise. 10. BREEDING GUARANTEES: All eligible cattle will be palpated by a licensed veterinarian prior to sale. Palpation results will be available sale day. All bulls 18 months and older will be semen tested by a licensed veterinarian. Semen results will be available sale day. All cattle are being sold without further guarantee as to breeding soundness. No warranties either stated or implied will accompany these cattle after they are sold.
