The IntelePACS ® PET/CT <strong>Fusion</strong> module incorporates critical features for reviewing fused images<br />

from PET and CT scanners. With PET/CT <strong>Fusion</strong>, you will benefit from innovative fusion and<br />

advanced visualization technology, as well as from state-of-the-art features no longer reserved for<br />

dedicated workstations. Radiologists can improve turnaround times for reading fused images and<br />

make more efficient use of their time, because they do not have to be physically located at a<br />

dedicated workstation.<br />

The PET/CT <strong>Fusion</strong> module is primarily used for analyzing studies acquired from hybrid scanners<br />

such as PET/CT and SPECT/CT. Clinicians have access to specific PET/CT statistics such as<br />

Standard Uptake Values (SUVs), volume measurements, and viewing features like variable opacity,<br />

independent color maps, Multiplanar Reformat (MPR), and Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP).<br />

Additionally, this fusion technology is not limited to PET/CT and SPECT/CT. It will provide<br />

comparable functionality for other dual imaging modalities like MR/MR and PET/MR, as they<br />

become available and as your needs evolve.<br />
