that their living on earth was meant to be for a
time and, after they proved faithful in Eden during
a trial period, they would die and be judged
worthy of resurrection and go to heaven and be
like the angels . In Eden the first man and woman
were on trial, neither for heaven nor for a fiery
place of torment, but for eternal life on earth or
for eternal death in earth's dust from which they
were taken . They were never destined for heaven,
if faithful . Till Jesus' day, four thousand years
later, no man had gone to heaven, for the Son of
God from heaven said : "No man has ascended
into heaven but he that descended from heaven,

to be forever on earth . "As the one made of

15 :48,50, NW Jesus went to heaven only
after he sacrificed his human life forever and then
was resurrected to spirit life, "he being put to
death in the flesh, but being made alive in the
spirit." 1 Peter 3 :18, NW As he was changed,
so the apostle Paul says to Jesus' faithful followers,
"we shall be changed ." Before ever these can
inherit the heavenly kingdom of God, there must
