to its end exclusively upon consecrated Jewish or
circumcised flesh . At the end of that week the
anointing would be free to go to the uncircumcised
believing non-Jews or Gentiles . So at the
exact time marked by the great Timekeeper, the
conversion of Gentile Cornelius and his household,
followed at once by their being anointed with
holy spirit, must have taken place at the final
end of the seventieth week in the fall of A .D. 36 .
The accomplishment of all things foretold in the
exact time-order served to affix a seal of confirmation
to this vision and prophecy given to Daniel
and it vindicated Jehovah God as a Prophet and
Timekeeper.

We may be sure that also at God's decreed
time the desolation by the Roman legions and the
end of the Jewish nation in Palestine came upon
the unbelieving Israelites after the end of the
seventy weeks. Jerusalem with her temple was
wiped out A.D. 70, and the last Jewish stronghold,
at Masada, on the west shore of the Dead sea,
fell to the Romans at Passover time, A .D. 73 .
Thus God's appointed doom fell upon the abomination
as represented by the erstwhile Jewish alliance
with Rome against Messiah the Prince . God's
wrath was poured out upon that desolate nation .
He baptized them with a baptism of fire of destruction
. Matthew 3 :10-12 But the life-giving
blessings that were secured by the coming and
sacrifice of Messiah the Prince continue till this
day for all believing and obedient people .
