THE CHIEF AGENT OF LIFE
THE perfect mathematics of the divine Constructor
of the universe is displayed not only
in his inanimate creation but also in his
timing of the various features of his purpose. By
the sun, moon and stars he provides the means
for his creatures on earth to measure time, seasons,
days, and years. Genesis 1 :14-18 Jehovah,
who has purposed the vindication of his own universal
sovereignty and the salvation of mankind,
"is doing these things which he has known from
of old." Not alone does he foreknow those things
themselves but he knows exactly the time they
are scheduled to occur. He has placed the times
and seasons in his own jurisdiction for the outworking
of his wonderful purpose, and we may
know and learn of his times and seasons only as he
unveils them to us in his Word by his spirit . Acts
15 :17, 18 and 1 :7, NW His timing of events
has been particularly in connection with his beloved
Son, the Seed of Jehovah's "woman" . This
Jesus appeared exactly at God's fixed time, and
we can Scripturally prove it. We are spurred to
the proof by the words : "But when the full limit
of the time arrived, God sent forth his Son, who
was produced out of a woman and who came to
