So powerful is the King's word sentencing the<br />

wicked world to destruction that the smiting of<br />

the earth with the rod of his mouth and the slaying<br />

of the wicked with the breath of his lips means<br />

the destruction of Satan's earthly <strong>org</strong>anization<br />

and the binding and abyssing of him and his demons<br />

The remnant of Kingdom heirs who survive the<br />

destruction of this world do not set their hope on<br />

inheriting the earthly paradise with the great<br />

crowd of "other sheep" who also survive. These<br />

heirs belong to Christ's congregation of conquerors,<br />

to whom he says by inspired utterance : "To<br />

him that conquers I will grant to eat of the tree<br />

of life, which is in the paradise of God ." Revelation<br />

2 :7, NW Not that there is a paradise up in<br />

heaven with literal trees, rivers, animals, birds<br />

and fishes ; but that this statement is made in<br />

symbolic language as part of the book of Revelation<br />

. Just as the literal paradise of Eden on the<br />

sixth day of earth's creation had a tree or grove<br />

of life in its midst which meant the right to everlasting<br />

life to the eater of its fruit, so, too, the<br />

symbolic "tree of life, which is in the paradise of<br />

God" . It means life to the eater of its fruit, but<br />

immortal heavenly life . When the surviving remnant<br />

finish their earthly course after their temporary<br />

service on earth after Armageddon and<br />

die, they will be rewarded as conquerors . By a<br />
