God revealed this to be his purpose to perfect<br />

man. He informed man that he was to have a<br />

part in it. Toward the end of the sixth creative day<br />

God completed the human couple by creating a<br />

wife for Adam, to be his perfect helpmate, bone<br />

of his bones and flesh of his flesh . "And God created<br />

man to his own image : to the image of God<br />

he created him : male and female he created them .<br />

And God blessed them, saying : Increase and multiply,<br />

and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule<br />

over the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the<br />

air, and all living creatures that move upon the<br />

enlarging the paradise . Before ever they were<br />

born their perfect parents sinned and the great<br />

Lawgiver and <strong>Life</strong>-giver judged them and sentenced<br />

them to death and drove them out of the<br />

paradise of pleasure . Paradise was a home for<br />

sinless perfect humans to live in forever, and that<br />
