short, no flesh would be saved ; but on account of
the chosen ones those days will be cut short ."
Matthew 24 :21, 22, NW This remnant have now
associated with them a "great crowd" of the
Right Shepherd's "other sheep" of good-will . He
has brought them all together into the condition
of one fold, one Shepherd', just as Noah brought
all his household into the ark immediately before
the deluge began . In fact, the three sons and three
daughters-in-law of Noah prefigured the "great
crowd" of other sheep whom the Right Shepherd
gathers before Armageddon . The "one fold" is the
only safe place in which to be "hid" during the
rapidly approaching day of the blazing expression
of Jehovah's anger against the wicked world .

Though that day comes as a thief on all worldlings
who scoff and are to be destroyed, it will
not come so upon the sheep in the "one fold", in
the antitypical "ark" condition. They are conducting
themselves in holy acts of conduct and
deeds of godly devotion and are awaiting the
wicked world's end. They are ever keeping it close
in mind . So when Jehovah's executional forces begin
the destruction of Satan's heavens and earth,
the sheep will be found finally by him spotless, unblemished
and in peaceable relations with him . He
will perform a stupendous miracle in preserving
them through the terrifying destruction . When it
is done, their eyes will behold the new heavens
and new earth which we have been awaiting so
long with faith in God's unfailing promise . Blessed
survivors of this world's end!
14 . On those in that fold of safety why will not that day
come as a thief and with destruction?
