destruction without our planet earth, the apostle
Peter proves, despite the certainty of ridicule by
religious ridiculers : "For, according to their wish,
this fact escapes their notice, that there were
heavens in ancient times and an earth standing
compactly out of water and in the midst of water
by the word of God, and by those means the world
of that time suffered destruction when it was
deluged with water." 2 Peter 3 :3-6, NW The
apostle holds that act of God forth as an example
of how God can and will wipe out Satan's present
world organization without destroying our earth
or entirely depopulating it .

The present heavens and earth of Satan's
world have stood now for over four thousand three
hundred years, and people of this world imagine
that they are as permanent as the literal heavens
and earth which God created. Satan the Devil,
"the god of this system of things," would like to
make them endure as long as the sun, moon and
earth, but God has given his unchangeable word
that they will end in an unparalleled catastrophe
by a deliberate act of Jehovah God . For that
reason it is called "Jehovah's day" . Contrasting
the end of the preflood world with the end of
this world, Peter writes : "But by the same word
the heavens and the earth that are now are stored
up for fire and are being reserved to the day of
judgment and of destruction of the ungodly men .
Yet Jehovah's day will come as a thief, in which
the heavens will pass away with a hissing noise,
but the elements being intensely hot will be disa.
Why are Satan's heaven and earth not permanent?
On what day will they be destroyed?
