God's favor and the right to everlasting life?<br />

Sounding a timely warning, the disciple Jude<br />

writes: "I desire to remind you, despite your<br />

knowing all things once for all time, that Jehovah,<br />

although he saved a people out of the land of<br />

Egypt, afterwards destroyed those not showing<br />

faith . And the angels that did not keep their original<br />

position but forsook their own proper dwellingplace<br />

he has reserved with eternal bonds under<br />

dense darkness for the judgment of the great day."<br />

The highly honored "covering cherub" in Eden<br />

gave way to ambitious selfishness and became the<br />

great Serpent, the deceiver . So Jehovah God sentenced<br />

him and his seed to destruction, to be<br />

crushed under the heel of the Seed of God's "woman"<br />

us to heed Jude's reminder to remain faithful .<br />

time when that faith was once for all delivered to<br />
