HOW TO BECOME
A PREACHER OF GOOD NEWS
BEING a real preacher of good news is the
work of greatest importance and good on
earth today. The bogus man-made preachers
of religious sects have misrepresented the ministry
of preaching and have brought scorn, ridicule
and reproach upon it . The true preachers of
good news are made and sent forth by Jehovah
God, the Giver of every good gift and every perfect
present
.
2 The apostle Paul was ridiculed and thought
foolish and weak for being a preacher of the good
news about Jesus Christ who had died on a torture
stake . But the superiority of preaching over
everything else on earth as to vital importance
can be judged by this statement : "The speech
about the torture stake is foolishness to those
who are perishing, but to us who are being saved
it is God's power. . . . Did not God make the wisdom
of the world foolish? For since, in the wisdom
of God, the world through its wisdom did not
get to know God, God saw good through the foolishness
of what is preached to save those believing.
