the coming of the Mediator greater than Moses,
and a High Priest greater than Aaron . The old
Law covenant, however, foreshadowed the new .
The natural Israelites had no reason to resent the
taking away of the old Mosaic Law covenant .
Why not? Because it is replaced by the new covenant
with better promises based on a better mediatorial
sacrifice, and it does lead to perfection .
When the mediatorial sacrifice of Jesus was laid
down by his death on the stake at Calvary, Jehovah
God canceled the Law covenant and took it
away and established the better new covenant .
Jesus gave his flesh for the life of mankind : By
means of his flesh he abolished the hatred, the
Law of commandments consisting in decrees, that
he might create the two peoples Jew and Gentile
in union with himself into one new man and
make peace, and that he might fully reconcile
both peoples in one body to God through the torture
