Your Guide to Being a CACHE Centre 01: Welcome Welcome to the Council for Awards in Care, Health and Education (CACHE) – the UK's only specialist awarding organisation for the children and adult health and care sectors, with a portfolio of qualifications ranging from Entry to Level 5. Our qualifications are used by over 1,500 colleges and training providers in the UK and abroad, and last year, over 150,000 learners registered with us through our Centres. We have developed this information document to enable you to become a recognised and approved CACHE centre with easy access to all our support. This document includes: • an introduction to our services and the different types of support we offer • the information that you need to develop your portfolio of qualifications • a general overview of the qualification frameworks • guidance on delivery, assessment and moderation/quality assurance in both the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and the Qualifications and Credit Framework(QCF) • guidance on administering those qualifications • Value Statements for the qualification specifications for Children and Young People, Health and Social Care, Playwork, Education Support and Health. Welcome to the Council for Awards in Care, Health and Education (CACHE) – the<br />

UK's only specialist awarding organisation for the children and adult health and<br />

care sectors, with a portfolio of qualifications ranging from Entry to Level 5.<br />
