CARNIVAL<br />
Four days of public jubilation, from « Fat Sunday » to<br />
Ash Wednesday. Revelers on foot and on floats travel<br />
up and down the streets of Martinique’s towns to the<br />
sound of boisterous music.<br />
Each day has its theme :<br />
- Sunday : free for all<br />
- Monday : burlesque « marriages »<br />
- Tuesday : red devils<br />
- Wednesday : the burial of «King Vaval » with<br />
everyone dressed in black and white.<br />
