II-2. Wyoming-Colorado Intertie (WCI)<br />

Project<br />

Location: WCI is a 345 kV line between Laramie River Station in southeastern<br />

Wyoming and Pawnee in northeastern Colorado.<br />

Definition: WCI crosses TOT3 (WECC <strong>Path</strong> 36).<br />

Transfer Limit: The WCI Phase1 Comprehensive Progress Report (Phase 1 Report) indicates<br />

that WCI will add up to 900 MW of capacity across TOT3. WCI has been<br />

accepted into Phase 2 of the <strong>Path</strong> <strong>Rating</strong> Process with a Planned <strong>Rating</strong> of<br />

900 MW.<br />

Phase I studies indicate that the limiting condition will be overloading the<br />
