This course provides instruction in the nature of human<br />

behavior and a consideration of theories and principles<br />

pertaining to the topics of research design and<br />

experimentation, perception, emotions and motivation,<br />

personality, social psychology, psychopathology, human<br />

development, learning, cognition and memory. It<br />

includes essential features of the biological and<br />

neurological basis of behavior.<br />

PSYC H101 HONORS INTRODUCTORY<br />

Approaches to understanding of personality, the<br />

dynamics of personality, personal adjustment, mental<br />

This intensive course is designed to assist students in<br />

obtaining the skills and knowledge necessary to identify<br />

and reach their personal goals and achieve college and<br />

career success. Topics covered include: selfawareness,<br />

goal-setting, motivation and discipline,<br />

memory development, time management, oral and<br />

written communication skills, study skills, diversity,<br />

financial planning, and an orientation to college life.<br />
