Passengers travelling to India are not allowed to carry Satellite phones without obtaining prior license from Department of Telecommunications,
Government of India. Unauthorized Satellite phones will be detained/confiscated on arrival at the airport.
Any passenger to India carrying a satellite phone in the Cargo or in any other baggage should declare the same at Customs at the point of entry.

Telecomunicaciones, Gobierno de la India. Los teléfonos satelitales sin autorización serán detenidos, incautaron a su llegada al aeropuerto.

Instructions to correctly fill up the Application form for an Indian Visa
1 a- Name as it appears in the passport.
1 b-FATHER´s given name has to be written here ( even if he has expired )
1 c- Husband´s name , if the applicant is married.
2 This is only filled if there is a minor included in the passport, and is of 15 years of age and
below. If he/she needs a visa you must fill in this and include 3 photographs for the visa and no
fees will be applied. If the child holds his/her own passport, he/she must fill out an application
form and pay the corresponding fees.

9. Passport Information: number, place and dates of emission of the passport. All this
information is found on the main page of your passport.

10. Please specify your current profession/occupation - If your profession is Journalist you
MUST send an email to Ms.Paulomi Tripathi at culture@embassyindia.es with a fotocopy of
your press card, brief description of object of journey, dates of entry/exit to india (if possible
attach itenery). Arke BLS Center will not process visas of Journalists without prior confirmation
from the Ms. Paulomi Thripathi ( Press and Information wing in the Embassy). ALL
JOURNALISTS/PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS SHOULD APLY FOR ONLY
JOURNALIST VISA EVEN THEY ARE VISITING INDIA FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

14 a - Period of time for which visa is required, 3 months, 6 months, one year. Tourist Visas are
issued of a minimum of 6 months validity.
14 b - Entries , Single or Multiple. The Indian Embassy actually give multiple entry visas except
a few cases.

You will see that there is a notice on Satelite phones, but normal conventional phones are
permitted to be taken to India for everyday use.
Incomplete forms will not be accepted.
DO NOT LEAVE ANY QUESTION/SECTION UNANSWERED, THE VISA APPLICATION MAY
BE REJECTED DUE TO AN INCOMPLETE APPLICATION FORM.
YOU MUST FILL THE APPLICANT SHEET FORM AND SEND IT WITH YOUR PASSPORT
