ELPING KIDS DURING CRISIS

Try and keep routines as normal as
possible. Kids gain security from the
predictability of routine, including
attending school.
axtonia Elementary School rolled out
P the Red Carpet, in honoring the multitude
of Artists participating in the PTA
Reflections Award Ceremonies. It was the
Grammies, Oscars, and Tony awards all in
one. The Gala was preceded by a wonderful
and exciting slide show of the Artist's
Works, accompanied by two renditions of
Limit exposure to television and the
news.
Be honest with kids and share with
them as much information as they
are developmentally able to handle.
Listen to kids’ fears and concerns.
Reassure kids that the world is a
good place to be, but that there are
people who do bad things.

"This Magic Moment." Incidentally, this
year's theme was "The Magic of a Moment."
There were fifty-three (53) entries this
year, up from thirty-two (32) last year. The
trophies, medals, and certificates were
magnificent, exemplifying the Reflections
Program. A tasty reception followed.

Giant A+ Rewards Program
hank you so much to the 144 families and friends

Paxtonia to help us earn 1% of qualifying purchases. So
far this school year, Paxtonia has earned $819. If you
have not yet designated your card this year, it’s not too
late! You must redesignate your card each school year by
doing one of the following: 1) Log onto
www.GiantAPlus.com, enter Paxtonia’s School ID code,
01059, and the number from the back of your card; OR 2)
Email your Bonuscard number(s) to Karen Yeselavage at
bobkarenyes@comcast.net with “Giant Aplus” in the subject
line. This program runs through March 30, 2013.
