This section describes the <strong>web</strong> <strong>server</strong> to <strong>web</strong> container IIOP connectivity provided in<br />

the BES AppServer Edition, and can be optionally installed (Web Services pack<br />

(VisiExchange) component) as part of VisiBroker Edition. For more information, go to<br />

Apache <strong>web</strong> <strong>server</strong> to <strong>Borland</strong> <strong>web</strong> container connectivity<br />

This section provides information about the following <strong>web</strong> components:<br />

an implementation of the open-sourced Apache <strong>web</strong> <strong>server</strong> version 2.0,<br />

■<br />

the Tomcat-based <strong>Borland</strong> <strong>web</strong> container, and<br />

■<br />

the IIOP connector, which provides connectivity from the Apache <strong>web</strong> <strong>server</strong> to the<br />

Tomcat-based <strong>Borland</strong> <strong>web</strong> container.<br />

These <strong>web</strong> components are included in the <strong>Borland</strong> Enterprise Server AppServer<br />

Edition, and can be optionally installed as part of the VisiBroker Edition. For more<br />

Modifying the <strong>Borland</strong> <strong>web</strong> container IIOP configuration<br />

The <strong>server</strong>.xml is the main configuration file for the <strong>Borland</strong> <strong>web</strong> container and is<br />

stored in your Partition's data directory:<br />

adm/tomcat/conf/<br />

Within the <strong>server</strong>.xml file are the following lines of code that pertain to the IIOP<br />
