Connecting <strong>Borland</strong> <strong>web</strong> containers to Java Session Service<br />

In this scenario, there are multiple <strong>web</strong> containers that need to connect to a Java<br />

Session Service during start up. The Smart Agent is used to make a client/<strong>server</strong><br />

connection. The following diagram shows multiple instances of the <strong>Borland</strong> <strong>web</strong><br />

container. Each <strong>web</strong> container is acting as a client. During start up, the Smart Agent is<br />

consulted as a directory service to find and connect a JSS object reference. For more<br />

information about the Java Session Service (JSS), go to Chapter 6, “Java Session<br />

Service (JSS) configuration.”<br />
