Using the iastool command-line tools<br />

Options<br />

The following table describes the options available when using the unmanage tool.<br />

Description<br />

Specifies the name of the hub on which the managed object<br />

is running.<br />

Specifies the host name and the listener port of the machine<br />

on which the managed object is running. This option enables<br />

the iastool utility to locate a hub on a different subnet than the<br />

machine on which iastool is running.<br />

Specifies the name of the configuration with which the<br />

managed object is associated.<br />

Specifies name of the managed object.<br />

Specifies the agent with which the managed object is<br />

associated.<br />

Specifies the port with which the managed object's agent is<br />

associated.<br />

Specifies the realm used to authenticate a user when the user<br />

and password options are specified.<br />

Specifies the user to authenticate against the specified realm.<br />

Specifies the user's password to authenticate against the<br />

specified realm.<br />

Specifies a login script file containing the realm, user name,<br />

and password used to authenticate a user. The full or relative<br />

path to this file must be specified. See “Executing iastool<br />

command-line tools from a script file” on page 321 for more<br />

information.<br />

Example<br />

The following example removes the managed object j2ee-<strong>server</strong> from the actively<br />

managed mode using the default management port:<br />

iastool -unmanage -hub BES1 -cfg j2ee -mo j2ee-<strong>server</strong><br />

usage<br />

When invoked without arguments usage displays a list of recognized command-line<br />

options and a brief description of each. Invoking usage with one or more arguments<br />

provides a more detailed description of the specified commands and their arguments.<br />

Arguments to the usage command do not require a leading hyphen.<br />

Default Output<br />

By default, the usage tool displays a list with a brief description of each command-line<br />

tool.<br />
