Experience
Worldwide experience in the design and
manufacture of standard geometry turnouts up
to #33.5, Tg 0.03
Turnout speeds of up to 200km/h
Standards Achieved
• AREMA Standards
• Euronorm EN Standards
• UIC Standards
Points of reference;
• UK, North America, Middle East, Africa,
Asia, Australasia
Technical Aspects
• Turnouts are manufactured in all rail sizes.
Principally 39E1, 56E1, 115RE, 60E1,
60E2, 136RE
• Switch (point) rails can be either
asymmetric or full-depth vignole type to suit
our customers’ requirements
• All rail grades are catered for
• Head-hardened asymmetric rails are
quenched after forging to maintain hardness
• Tangential, secant and special geometries
• Supplied with Austenitic Manganese Steel
(AMS) centre-block crossings with integral
carbon steel welded legs for welding
directly into track
• Crossings can also be supplied
explosively depth hardened to over
400 BHN, which gives an immediate
service benefit
• Turnouts are supplied with softwood,
hardwood or concrete crossing bearers.
Concrete bearers (ties) can be pre-stressed
through-bearers, modular “split-bearers” or
twin-block design
• Turnouts are manufactured to our clients’
preferred switch operating and locking
devices and are compatible with various
supplementary detector options
• Our engineers interface with electrification
and signalling engineers to ensure
