Fr. Michael’s High School Group and Fr. Accu’s
middle school group, Venturers of the Star, have
begun the year with well-attended events! The high
schoolers kicked off with a launch party and will
continue every Sunday evening directly following the
5:00pm Mass at the Frassati House. Venturers of the
Star will be held for middle schoolers at the Frassati
House on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm.
Special thanks to the Women's Guild for the beautiful red roses that were placed
by the statue of the Blessed Mother in honor of her September 8th birthday!

VENTURERS OF THE STAR
Fr. Accu is leading a middle school group on
Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm in the Frassati House.
All middle school students are welcome to join us as we
sing songs, play games, and encounter Christ!
3RD ANNUAL MEN'S CONFERENCE
All men are invited to attend the 3rd Annual
Men’s Conference to be held here at Nativity. The
Conference, “Living Your Faith Daily” will be held all
day Saturday and Sunday morning, October 27-28.
The cost is only $50 with lunch and dinner provided
on Saturday. Father Michael Carvill, Stephen Carattini
and Greg Blanchard will be among the men who
will speak about their faith. To sign up or for more

OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH
FR. MICHAEL'S HIGH SCHOOL GROUP
Fr. Michael is leading a high school group on Sundays
immediately following the 5:00pm Mass at the Frassati
House. The group will include food and games and
less centered on the Year of Faith.
LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
ENDOW AT NATIVITY IS GROWING!
We are graciously blessed by willing facilitators to be
able to offer several choices for women at Nativity to
participate in an Endow group with women from our

TIME OUT FOR FRIENDSHIP
Are you a woman looking for friends & fellowship? Come join us & take Time Out for Friendship (TOFF).
TOFF meets the first & third Tuesdays of the month, from September to May, from 9:00am – 11:00am. Our
next meeting will be on October 2 in Weibel Hall. Bring your old children’s costumes and toys for a swap with
the other moms (please label items if you want them back after they are used). Our typical meetings include
speakers about subjects pertinent to womanhood, service projects, snacks & coffee, and socializing. Childcare is
available at a small fee for all children one and older, while children under one can stay in the room with Mom.
Childcare at your first meeting is free! TOFF also offers playgroups, Moms’ Nights Out, service projects, and
other activities year round, so if you cannot attend Tuesday meetings, you can still participate. Contact: Anne

ATTENTION EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION
All mandations of current EMHCs will expire on the First Sunday of Advent, December 2, 2012. This means
that those who wish to continue in this ministry must have their names submitted to the Archbishop prior to
that weekend; we have been asked to submit our roster of EMHCs no later than November 2, 2012.
If you plan to continue serving our parish in this capacity, you must fill out and turn in the short EMHC

CHILDCARE DURING CONFESSION
TOFF would like to offer childcare for family members
attending Saturday morning confession. Drop off will
be in Weibel I starting at 8:30am. Toys and attention
for the little ones are provided by TOFF families. We
are thinking of offering this monthly, so please let us
know at drop off if you would like it to continue.

through Nativity. Becky has a Master’s Degree in
