The highest shares of incinerated municipal (Figure 28.) <strong>waste</strong> were observed in<br />

Denmark (53%), Luxembourg <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> Sweden (both 47%), the Netherl<str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g>s<br />

(38%), France (36%), Germany (35%) <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> Belgium (34%). Eleven Member<br />

States had no incinerati<strong>on</strong> at all. (EEA Report No 7/.,2009)<br />
