9.3.2. West London Eco Park
The EcoPark is a 43-acre site owned by London Waste Ltd. It offers a range of
waste services recycling, composting, clinical treatment, recovery <strong>and</strong> disposal -
primarily to the North London Waste Authority (the Authority responsible for
organizing the disposal of waste from seven North London Boroughs), but also
to businesses in <strong>and</strong> around London <strong>and</strong> the south east. (Picture 46.)

The sites owned <strong>and</strong> managed by London Waste provide recycling, composting
<strong>and</strong> electricity generation operations in the North London area. The license
capacity of the Compost Centre has been increased from 30,000 tons to 45,000
tons per annum, where the compost material matures under a covered
maturation area to reduce the risk of odor impact.
