Air emissions may arise from different stages of biological treatment through anaerobic digestion of organic material <strong>and</strong> in biogas upgrading processes in treatment plants. Even though the emissions from biogas plants are low, they should be minimized for several reasons. They can be attended to by putting a larger focus on operational issues. Stockholm concept (AÖS., 2009) The substrate used today for biogas production in Stockholm is sewage sludge from the wastewater treatment mainly.
