ART & BUSINESS AWARD
FOR TELENOR FOUNDATION
March 2008 – Bizart Art & Business Award, for the most successful partnership between culture and business
sectors, went to the Telenor Foundation for its partnership with the Kiosk NGO in the Start up City project, at a
ceremony at the Cvijeta Zuzoric Pavillion on March 20, 2008.
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, the Bizart Award was initiated to stimulate
new mechanisms for culture financing, which includes the private and business sector and a large number of
foundations. In this way, the Ministry intends to develop instruments for motivated investment in culture, with the
aim of creating a strong, multilayered and sustainable connection between the cultural and business sectors,
a positive climate for investment in culture, based on mutual respect, professionalism, social responsibility, an
innovative approach, quality of partnerships, as well as the quality of the projects.
These were the main criteria for the jury, which selected the projects and awarded the most successful partnerships.
The members of the jury were: Nebojša Babić, Director of the O3one Gallery, Katarina Gaborović, Raiffeisen Bank
Marketing Director, Veran Matić, Director of TV B92, Igor Orsolić, B92 Art Director, and Miodrag Popović, Director of
Yu Epicenter.
The statue awarded to the winners was designed by Mirko Ilić.
