„WAKE UP SERBIA“ CAMPAIGN
September 2008 - Restrooms were built, as part of the campaign “Homework for All of Us”, run by the People’s
outhouses and classes are taught in buildings that do not meet basic hygienic standards.
Officials from the Telenor Foundation and the People’s Office of the President of Serbia visited the village of Grlište
near Zajecar. Ana Krstić, Manager of the Telenor Foundation, presented gifts to the remote class of the “Vladimir
Petkovic Dis” Elementary School during her visit. The package included balls, nets for volleyball, basketball and
soccer, and teaching materials, tools and books.
