CHILDREN WITHOUT PARENTAL<br />
CARE IN SUMMER CAMP ON KOPAONIK<br />
September <strong>2008</strong> - The Association of Extreme Sports of Serbia and the <strong>Telenor</strong> Foundation organized a summer<br />
camp <strong>for</strong> 25 children without parental care on Mt. Kopaonik. The program included climbing with full alpine gear,<br />
walking to the geyser and to the mountain peaks, sports activities and workshops. Despite the inclement weather,<br />
children managed to visit the Djurdjevi Stupovi monument and Karaman Ridge, and to see Markov Kamen.<br />
REHABILITATION OF CHILDREN<br />
FROM KOSOVO, VISITING WITH NORWEGIAN FAMILIES<br />
February <strong>2008</strong> – March <strong>2008</strong> – The <strong>Telenor</strong> Foundation covered the travel expenses <strong>for</strong> 50 children from Kosovo to<br />
go to Norway to stay with Norwegian families. The project was initiated and realized by the Serbian Red Cross. The<br />
majority of the children had never left their city.<br />
NEW TOILET STALL FOR DISABLED STUDENTS<br />
May <strong>2008</strong> - In order to assist disabled students at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and other technical faculties,<br />
the Faculty of Electrical Engineering renovated and modified a toilet stall <strong>for</strong> students with disabilities, with support<br />
of the <strong>Telenor</strong> Foundation.<br />
