SW 326 SW Practice with Older Adults 3(3-0)<br />
The biological, psychological, social, cultural and spiritual<br />
aspects of aging and the services affecting them.<br />
Prerequisites: junior standing or consent from instructor.<br />

SW 327 Practice with Abused and Neglected Children<br />
3(3-0)<br />
The physical, behavioral, emotional signs of child abuse<br />
and neglect; laws designed to protect children, and<br />
services available to assist them. Prerequisites: junior<br />

SW 350 Social Welfare Policy 3(3-0)<br />
Theory and social work practice related to social policy,<br />
problem identification, policy formation, implementation,<br />
evaluation and analysis. Development of critical thinking<br />
skills for policy analysis. Prerequisites: acceptance into<br />
the social work program; completion of any one ECON or<br />

Capstone course which integrated knowledge, values,<br />
skills, and theory with micro, mezzo, macro generalist<br />
social work practice with diverse populations in various<br />
agency settings. Prerequisites: acceptance into the social<br />
work program; successful completion of all SW foundation<br />

into the social work program and field practicum;<br />
successful completion of social work foundation courses.<br />

To provide an opportunity for students to learn and adopt<br />

Study of leadership theories and principles. The course<br />
emphasizes components of leadership, gender, ethnic<br />
diversity in leadership styles, organizational forms, and<br />
