Introduction to the philosophy of the Nursing program, and<br />

the professional nursing practice theories. Teaching<br />

NSG 311 Concepts for Professional Nursing 4(4-0)<br />

Advanced study of concepts and theory of Maternal,<br />

neonatal, pediatric, family and mental health related to<br />

NSG 312 Nursing Care of Childbearing Families<br />

Nursing care of the neonate and procreative family during<br />

the peri-natal period. Includes health promotion, family<br />

Nursing process directed toward principles of therapeutic<br />

An elective course that provides an opportunity for a<br />
