13 credits in an information systems environment.<br />
Students may select a business administration minor<br />
or 13 credits of business electives. Students must<br />
consult with a CIS faculty advisor to select the option<br />
most appropriate to their future plans.<br />
Computer Security Option for CIS Majors<br />
CIS majors can earn the Computer Security option by<br />

CIS MINORS<br />
Non-CIS majors who wish to minor in CIS have several<br />
options. They may select a minor in Computer<br />
Security, or they may build their own minor based on<br />
the completion of seven core courses and one of four<br />
separate tracks. Students must complete a minimum of<br />
six credits of upper-division CIS courses.<br />
Computer Security Minor<br />
The computer security minor prepares the graduate for<br />
positions in the IT security field, including IT security<br />
specialist and IT security administrator. A minor<br />
extends training in the profession to majors in a variety<br />
