EDAVAKA DINAM:
The 28 th Parish Day of our edavaka went very well. Rt. Rev. Thomas Mar Timotheos Thirumeni was the Chief
Guest. We take this opportunity to thank our Thirumeni, Vicar Rev. Varghese M. Thomas, the other guests (Rev.
K. G. Koshy, Mr. Roy Varghese Sabha Mandalam Council Member Gulf Region ) and all the edavaka members
who blessed the occasion with their presence and prayers.
HARVEST FESTIVAL – 2011:
The 17 th Harvest Festival held on 13 th January 2012 at the International British School – Fahaheel was a grand
success. Although the weather was slightly rainy, we witnessed a very active participation of all the edavaka
members throughout the function. Let us all thank the Lord for showering his blessings on this year’s Harvest
Festival. Let us also take this opportunity to thank each and everyone who have extended all possible helps directly
or indirectly to make this event a memorable one.

Our Edavaka Sevika Sanghom will be conducting a breakfast sale on 24th February 2012 immediately

VISIT OF 5 BISHOPS TO KUWAIT FROM 23 TO 25 FEBRUARY 2012:
It is a great privilege for each and every member of the Mar Thoma Parishes in Kuwait that
our Metropolitan, His Grace The Most Rt. Rev. Dr. Joseph Mar Thoma, the Diocesan Bishop,
Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulos, former Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Joesph Mar Barnabas
and the 3 newly consecrated Bishops; Rt. Rev. Dr. Mathews Mar Makarios, Rt. Rev.
Gregorios Mar Stephanos & Rt. Rev. Dr. Thomas Mar Theethos will be visiting Kuwait from
23 rd February (Thursday morning) until 25 th February 2012 (Saturday evening).
A mega reception jointly arranged by all the 5 parishes in Kuwait will be given to our beloved
Thirumenis on Ramada Hotel (Tahreer Ball Room) – Riggae on 24 th February 2012 (Friday)
from 05:30 pm until 09:00 pm. A 125-member Mega Reception Committee comprising
members from all the 5 parishes is established and the 10 Sub-Committees are in top gear to
make this event a grand success.
Our members Mr. Jacob T. Varghese (Lalan) is the Convener for the Accommodation and
logistic Sub-Committee and Mr. Rony Varghese is the Convener for the Reception Sub-
Committee.
Please bless this function with the presence and prayers of each and every member of our
Parish.
MERIT AWARD 2011:

The Campers’ Fellowship which held at the Mangaf Prayer Hall on Thursday, 19 th January

We are nearing to the end of financial year 2011-2012 All members are kindly
requested to pay the Edavaka Trustees or Office-Bearers amounts due to the parish
towards Annual Subscription, Anduvary and Edavaka Sandharanam for the
financial year 2011/2012. A number of registered members are yet to pay their
