Von Roll’s winding wires are at the leading edge of technology.
The consistent high quality of our products and our customized
insulating coatings guarantee safety and reliability for all
applications.
Among those high tech winding wire products, Von Roll is able to
offer a complete range of enamelled round and flat copper wires
for a large range of applications:
Duroflex ®
Enamelled wire with outstanding mechanical properties of the
coating for windings in transformers
Soldex ® and Thermex ® S
Solderable wires for uses in relays, small contactor coils,
transformers and motors.
Thermex ®
High temperature wires with temperature indexes up to 240°C
for electrical and magnet coils, transformers, motors and small
generators.
Thermex ® CR
High temperature wire with better resistance to partial discharges
as in inverter fed low voltage motors.
Thermofix ® and Thermibond ®
Self bonding wires which allow the motor or generator
manufacturer to avoid the use of impregnation varnishes and to
reduce his manufacturing time cycles.
Von Roll’s enamelled copper wires can typically be offered in the
following dimension range:
• Round enamelled: diameters from 0.03 to 5.00 mm
• Flat enamelled: cross-sections from 2 to 100 mm 2
Other conductor materials than copper can also be offered
with an enamelled insulation: on request, nickel plated copper,
special alloys or superconductors coated with enamels can be
proposed.
The coating classes applicable for self-bonding wires are
according to IEC 60317-0-1, Clause 4, Table 2.
The respective datasheet is available upon request.
Wires of coating class 0, having special dimensions or limited
tolerances can be obtained upon request.
